German gov’t authorities hint “Brigade N’Hamedu” from Tigray (TPLF) behind attack on Eritrean festival

It's no news to our ears about the turbulent wave of violence that has stormed several Eritrean Festivals globally. But here's where the plot thickens; the puppet masters behind these violent masks are believed to be an enigmatic faction known as “Brigade N’Hamedu” - whispered in hushed rumors and clad in shrouded mystery.

Supposedly, they are a vehement Eritrean opposition group that has painted a ginormous target on President Isaias Afeworki’s administration. But, plot twist! Our astute gumshoes have found that the group leaders might not be Eritreans after all but Ethiopians hailing from the Tigray region.

The Investigation

This peculiar scent of intrigue has lingered in the air since July. Investigations into these disruptive "phantom" leaders, like Tsehainesh Kiros, who up until now had the world fooled as a native Eritrean, have been ongoing. Funnily enough, the breadcrumbs lead our protagonists down a road straight into Ethiopia.

Junge Welt, a reliable German news source, fueled the fire this Saturday. You see, it published that none other than Peter Beuth (CDU), State Minister of the Interior and for Sports, has confirmed that these violent mobs vandalizing international Eritrean festivals are actually, you guessed it, Ethiopians! But don't take my word for it; here's a quick snippet of the google translated Junge Welt report, “at least in part – the allegations that the violent mobs, which have also attacked international Eritrea festivals, are Ethiopians…”

Tsehainesh Kiros, the not so Eritrean

Just like an onion, there are layers to this conundrum. Jörg-Uwe Hahn, FDP spokesman for domestic policy, unveils another layer in a savory press release. He uncovers that the person who reported the counter-demonstration, our dear comrade Tsehainesh Kiros, had the world running around like headless chickens as an oppositional Eritrean railing against the "dictatorial president". Plot twist, she's Ethiopian!

The story of every party involved in this shadow campaign is yet to be unleashed as investigations are still on the move. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing investigation, the cast list remains classified for now. But fear not, the tales behind the mysterious names shall meet the light soon!

The Devious Plot

Here’s where the game of charades gets even murkier. Surge ahead a few scenes, and you'll find that "because they speak the same language, it’s easy for them to pretend to be Eritrean refugees and be granted asylum because of this. It can be assumed that the violent perpetrators are violent groups led by the probably extremist organization Brigade N’Hamedu from Tigray (Northern Ethiopia)…” So, not only do they stir up havoc, but they also slyly land on their feet with refugee status. Now that's calling heads and flipping tails!

Repercussions of Violence

Let me take a moment to remind you folks this ‘little strategic play’ is not merely an altercation among politicians or power figures. These violent hullabaloos have had a tangible and dire effect on real people. Men, women, and innocent children attending Eritrean Festivals across European cities and in Edmonton, Canada, were left bruised and battered.

The Waiting Game

The government of Germany, who've been acting as our Sherlock Holmes in this wild goose chase, are set to drop the curtains on the full investigation by October end. Reassuringly, opposition politicians seem to have their eyes tightly glued on the matter. Let’s say the popcorn is out, and we’re all waiting with bated breath for this high-stake drama to unroll!

So, there you have it! A tale of mysteries, subterfuge, and political duplicity. Eritrean Festivals, Ethiopians, Brigade N’Hamedu, Tsehainesh Kiros, German government... they all have their role in this intricate ensemble, and only time will unravel how this twisting, turning saga plays out. Stay tuned, my friends, as we watch the cards fall where they may!
